LEAN-TO BUILDINGS

LEAN-TO BUILDINGS

A Lean-to building is (for the most part) just a shedrow barn with a peaked roof and on one side (or both sides) is at least an 8 foot lean-to roof. The buildings may seem very similar, and they are, except for one huge zoning difference. A shedrow barn is still considered a "portable building" even once completely set on the owner's property. However, a Lean-to building is a 100% permanent structure and once setup is complete, it cannot be moved around the property.
